EXHIBITION: Shetland Artisans - London Craft Week 2022

Display of Eve Eunson’s contemporary strawback chair at London Craft Week 2022

In May I made a dash to London on the overnight Caledonian Sleeper to take part in London Craft Week as part of a collaborative exhibition - Shetland Artisans - curated by Fair Isle based knitwear designer, Mati Ventrillon.

The Great Scotland Yard Hotel was a fabulous back drop for the very best of Shetland’s craft and food and it was great fun setting up the exhibition and meeting folk who attended the opening night. I couldn’t stay long tho - just one day! Giving me just about enough time to visit a few of the other Craft Week exhibitions before hoping back on the night train and back to Aberdeen.
